Creek to Bay Day 2008

Creek to Bay Day

Creek to Bay Day, Oakland ’s annual creek cleanup and beautification event, will be held this year on
Saturday, September 20th, 2008 , from 9 am - Noon .

Oakland residents who participate in this event, which is held as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day , join thousands of volunteers in all 50 states and 90 countries around the world in taking part in the largest waterway and beach cleanup of the year.

This year’s event will take place at various creek locations throughout the city and at Lake Merritt .
