Parks, Recreation Centers,

Recycling containers are also available in shopping areas. Due to grants from the Alameda County Waste Management Authority and Source Reduction and Recycling Board, the San Pablo/Golden Gate and the MLK/Telegraph Avenue business districts have recycling receptacles built into the garbage containers. Similar installations are in the Dimond district. Here's a photograph along San Pablo Avenue:
Oakland Recycles, a service of the City of Oakland Public Works Agency's Environmental Services Division, provides recycling services that help Oaklanders recycle at home, at work, at school, at play, and during construction.
